Early Intervention and Services

  • Swedish Medical Center 747 Broadway Seattle, WA 98122 USA (map)

Early Intervention and Services – does your preemie need a little support? Becky Smith is an Occupational Therapist and the Early Intervention Director of Northwest Center for Kids she will be coming to talk about what NW Center provides for families and red flags to watch for in your preemies. Red flags such as: delays in gross/fine motor skills, muscle tone issues, speech issues, feeding issues, etc! NW Center serves families in the Seattle area and their team includes Family Resource Coordinators, Speech-Language Pathologist, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Special Educators, and Nutritionists. Even if you’re already involved with another Birth-to-Three Center in King County, it should prove to be an informative night and an opportunity to ask Becky questions about your child’s development. Not to mention… a fun time to connect with other parents too! Hope to see you there!

DIRECTIONS: Park in the main garage of Swedish First Hill (747 Broadway). Take South Elevators (elevators closest to Lytle Center) to 3rd floor. On 3rd floor, take a right out of the elevator. Take the 2nd right down hall, through the closed doors. Conference room will be on your left (if you've gone through double doors and over a sky-bridge you've gone too far).

Special thanks to Swedish Hospital and the Seattle March of Dimes for helping us arrange space for our meeting!
