Details:

Self Care for the Preemie Parent. Having a preemie can be a very a diffcult and traumatic experience. Many parents struggle with depression, anxiety, or PTSD after the NICU journey. Join us as Laurie Slater, LMFT, PhD comes to talk about this important topic: caring for yourself when you've experienced trauma. Not struggling currently or maybe you've already learned skills/methods to calm yourself? Then please come and share how you coped and cared for yourself in the darker moments of your family's journey.

One great way to care for yourself is to connect with other parents! Even better: when we're at a place where we can turn around and support another! There's no reason to walk the path alone! Please join us!
