Making the decision to have another baby after you've had a preemie is not a one that comes easy.  It's a topic that is fraught with concern.  It's a new year and if you're contemplating what your future family will look like, this highly sought after event is for you!

Dr. Robin DeRegt from Eastside Maternal Fetal Medicine will join us to discuss growing your family after you've had a preemie.  She will address what to consider when making the decision and talk about her experience as a provider on outcomes.


What is a Perinatologist?

A subspecialty of obstetrics concerned with the care of the fetus and complicated, high-risk pregnancies. Perinatology is also known as maternal-fetal medicine.

If you’re wrestling with the decision now this is the perfect meeting for you. If you and your partner/spouse already made a decision (had another baby or decided against it) come share your experience and perspective to support the other parents! This is one of our most popular meetings and it will be an interesting and informative discussion! Moms, Dads, and babies in arms are all welcome!


About Dr. Robin DeRegt, MD:

Dr. Robin deRegt has more than 30 years of experience in high-risk obstetrical care and high-tech ultrasound. Dr. deRegt works as a consultant to OB/GYNs or can be the primary obstetrical provider for highly complicated pregnancies. She believes that family-centered care is particularly important in complicated pregnancies, where you need to have accurate information to make a sometimes difficult situation better. Her special expertise includes working with families at high risk for preterm birth, pregnancies with twins and triplets, families with multiple needs, and those concerned about nutrition and exercise.
