Please join Seattle Parents of Preemies for the upcoming 2017 Greater Puget Sound - March For Babies event! We are honored and excited to walk through the streets of Seattle in support of the March of Dimes and their efforts to eradicate prematurity! Last year, we had an amazing turnout of 18 families (over 40 members) on our team. Let’s make our team even bigger this year! We would love to you have as part of our team!

JOINING OUR TEAM & FUNDRAISING: Make sure you officially join our MoD Team (see link above). If you already have a team or profile set up and want to join us, contact and we can have you linked with our team. There is no requirement to fundraise. When you click the “Join This Team” button from our team’s page, you may be asked to set a fundraising goal. You can set any goal... and you’re not required to fulfill it. Please don’t let that prevent you from joining our team! If you do wish to fundraise, you definitely can and the March of Dimes offers prizes for fundraising goals/tiers met, see here for the 2017 list:

CAN FRIENDS/FAMILY JOIN OUR TEAM: Yes! Anyone is welcome to join the SPP team. Make sure they register using our team link too!

-8AM: Registration starts - for those registered to walk, you can "sign in" with MOD; those that have met fundraising goals/tiers for MOD will pick up their prizes at registration.
-Prior to 8:30AM: Pickup your SPP team shirt from Audrey (Family Teams Tent).
-8:30AM: TEAM PHOTO at the Family Teams Tent!
-8:45AM: a "Super Heroes Run" for kids for those interested.
-9AM: Walk event starts!

TEAM MEETING LOCATION: We will meet at the Family Teams Tent before walk!

TEAM PHOTO: We decided to change the meeting time for the team photo to 8:30am. Please meet us at the Family Teams Tent for our team photo! For those interested, there is at 8:45am a "Super Heroes Run" for kids; it costs $25 per child (or $40 per family - suggested donation) to enter and your child gets a purple cape. We apologize for changing the team photo time; we didn't want to interfere with the Super Heroes Run!

PARKING: You can also park at the Pacific Science Center garage. There will be very limited street parking and street closures during the walk.

T-SHIRTS: If you ordered a t-shirt please come prior to 8:30am (Family Teams Tent) to get your shirt from us!
